Bangalore

Most of the time I have a busy work schedule for I handle the most important area of our companies business. My job mostly involves forecasting and monitoring sales trends, devise marketing strategies and measure their effectiveness, conduct surveys and gather data about products, consumers and competitors, and the list goes on and on. I hardly get time to spend with my family at home and as a result, go on a vacation whenever I get a chance.

My last vacation with my family was in Bangalore and frankly, I want to write my experience for it turned out to be a delightful and exciting one. We started off the trip with a train travel because I love trains and believe them as the place where people get united and develop strong relationships.

My Train Travel from Hubli to Bangalore – A Journey to Cherish for Long

I had three AC Chair Car booked online in Shatabdi Express (12080), which is scheduled at 2.00 pm from Hubbali Junction. The Jan Shatabdi is a daily train and is fully air conditioned shuttling between Hubli and Bangalore. We were on time to board the train. The seats were comfortable through not having enough space to between them to stretch the body or legs.

Nevertheless, I loved traveling in it for I can get to know many people. The food served on board was good. We reached the KSR Bengaluru City Junction at 9.30 pm traveling for about 7 hours and 30 minutes.

Bangalore Railway Station – An Ideal Place to Break Your Journey and Relax

Walking through the crowd and negotiating my way to the exit, I looked around and enjoyed the large and well-maintained Bangalore Railway Station. Officially called Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna Bengaluru Railway Station, it is large enough to hold 10 platforms. There are two entrances to the station. These platforms serve various railway lines like Chennai and Salem, Hubballi – Dharwad via Yeshwantpur and Mysuru.

The station takes care of the travelers on journey with the retiring rooms and dormitories. I could figure about 27 such rooms categorized as AC and non-AC. The other facilities include restrooms, ticket counters for instant booking of tickets, information centers, luggage center, and more. The platforms are maintained with the housekeeping staff cleaning at regular intervals.

The station is also served by many food joints and shops that cater to the needs of the travelers. In general, the Bangalore Railway Station offers to be an ideal place to relax.

Staying Luxuriously at Fortune Park JP Celestial

I never compromise on comforts and luxury when on a holiday or vacation anywhere. In Bangalore, we had our stay at the Fortune Park JP Celestial, which is a 4-star property. I chose this for its ideal location, which is near to the railway station, M.G. Road, Bangalore Palace and Mantri Mall. Our room was a Standard Room, though the hotel offered Fortune Club Rooms and Suites too. The room was quite spacious with king-sized bed, which could easily accommodate three of us. The walls were decorated with paintings and the floors covered with wood showcasing the richness.

The work space and sofa sets added to the lavish richness. The staff was quite friendly and caring. We had a great sty and food here making our days the most memorable ones.
